It's specially designed to work perfectly with any standard mixing glass for effortless straining that ensures only the good stuff goes in your glass. Originally named after the famous cocktail, julep strainers can be used to strain any kind of drink you need to make behind your bar. Some bartenders even prefer using them over standard Hawthorne strainers. The convex/concave design allows them to fit easily inside cocktail mixing glasses or a pint glass when used with a Boston shaker.
